Chris Jachimowicz

Director of Student Leadership Programs, Muhlenberg College – Allentown, Pennsylvania

Chris Jachimowicz is the Director of Student Leadership Programs at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. His interest in developing a leadership program accessible to all students led him to discover Gallup's StrengthsQuest in 2008. As practically all leadership models begin with "know thyself," StrengthsQuest provides a strong foundation for students to better understand their talents before applying them to their relationships with others.

Since 2009, Chris has been engaged in the strategic rollout of a strengths-based program across the Muhlenberg campus. His careful approach to building consensus helped staff and faculty members in many departments become invested in the program before the first student had completed StrengthsQuest. Chris' natural creativity has produced unique means of promoting and celebrating strengths.

Chris is a native of Pennsylvania. In 1986, he accepted an assistantship in the Student Activities Office at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, where he subsequently received a master's degree in counseling and college student personnel services. He is a Dale Carnegie graduate and received a certificate in Experiential Team Training. He is a frequent presenter on parliamentary procedure, bylaw revision, and Student Government-Administrator relations for the American Student Government Association.

Chris currently resides in Topton, Pennsylvania with his wife of 18 years, and their two children. The family has an extensive collection of board games (nearly 500 at last count) and enjoys scouring thrift stores, flea markets, and yard sales on the weekends to add to the collection.

Chris' Signature Themes are Strategic, Individualization, Achiever, Deliberative, and Connectedness.
