Sondra Cave, Ph.D., is the Director of the Freshman Seminar Program and the Center for Professional Excellence at MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU). Dr. Cave has been using StrengthsQuest in the freshman seminar program at MNU for the past decade. In addition, she has implemented the use of strengths in the performance management and evaluation process on her campus. Dr. Cave was recognized by Gallup with the Strengths Architect award in 2008.
Dr. Cave also serves as a StrengthsQuest Advisor to Gallup's StrengthsQuest program. She trains faculty, staff, and students at colleges and universities to discover their strengths and help them use a strengths-oriented approach to education. She also provides Webinars for Gallup on implementing strengths into a first-year program.
For her dissertation research, Dr. Cave studied the transition of students from high school to college and the effects of a strengths-based first-year program on students' academic motivation.
Dr. Cave is a frequent speaker for colleges, conferences, leadership seminars, retreats, women's ministry events, churches, and community events. Her Signature Themes are Competition, Focus, Achiever, Harmony, and Discipline.
